Blow Job Tips!

Blow job tips

This post is intended for those over the age of 18. If you’re not yet 18, please visit Scarleteen for some great resources on sexuality.

No two bodies are the same and accordingly, no two penises, balls or prostates are identical in their sexual response. Even those who know exactly what brings them to the height of ecstasy admit that their needs change with…well, the wind. Mood, time elapsed since last sexual encounter, stress, energy levels and a host of other factors influence what feels good during oral sex for both men and women. So the techniques I outline below are merely suggestions and certainly not a recipe for the perfect blow job. Play with them, have fun and ask your partner for feedback to find out what they love and enjoy the process.

If anyone else has suggestions, please add them to the list! Here are just a few thoughts on blow jobs as a sneak peek into my workshops and video courses…

  1. Consider massaging their thighs and lower abdomen and allowing your hands, chest, lips and breath to gently brush against the penis and balls before diving in.
  2. Use tons of lube. Your saliva is great, but it may not last as long as a water or silicone-based lube. If you want to simulate other types of penetration (vaginal, anal, etc.) using your mouth, you’ll need lots of lube to “trick” the dick.
  3. Tease the penis and balls with your tongue (no lip-contact) as you get them worked up. Try drawing a sensual “W” along the base or a “V’ against the head/glans.
  4. For those with breasts: rub lube all over your breasts and rub them all over the shaft.
  5. The Harmonica: run your lips and tongue up and down the underside of the penis while holding it flat against the lower abdomen with the pressure of your lips.
  6. Use your hands and fingers as an extension of your lips and mouth. You can elongate your mouth by creating an okay-sign with your super-lubed index finger and thumb and placing it in against your lips. As you move up and down the shaft of the penis, you should be able to move deeper so that your fingers and mouth feel like a continuous long,  wet tunnel. Add more fingers as desired.
  7. Cock Ring: form an okay sign with your index finger and thumb and squeeze tightly at the base of the penis and you tightly seal your lips around and move them slowly from base to tip. Draw several “S’s” with your tongue as you move up and down and rotate your head to apply varied pressure.
  8. Modified Ring: use both thumbs and index fingers to create a seal around the entire scrotum and penis like a cock ring. Move your lips, tongue, and any other moist body parts up and down the shaft and head while squeezing firmly around the base and scrotum.
  9. Throat Kegels: Move your lips toward the base of the penis and when you reach your deepest point, swallow slowly and intensely several times. As you swallow, you can apply pulsing pressure to simulate or intensify orgasmic contractions.
  10. Don’t forget to use your lubed hands throughout the experience to play with the balls, thighs and perineum. The perineum is the space between the anus and scrotum and pressure on this area can stimulate the internal bulb of the penis as well as the prostate (sometimes called the g-spot).
  11. As  they approach orgasm, you might want to pay attention to the lower few inches of the shaft (sometimes called  the orgasmic platform). You can use your lips or hands to pulse/squeeze this area in time with their orgasmic contractions/spasms.

These are just a few techniques among an infinite number of pleasurable possibilities. Have fun and always practice safer sex!
